My heart’s desire is to offer myself, my gifts and talents, to Christ in the cloister of a Dominican monastery, Corpus Christi Monastery, in Menlo Park, California, in contemplation and prayer, for the salvation of souls. But before I could enter, I had to resolve my educational loans. To that end, I was an aspirant with The Laboure Society, a non-profit organization that helps young men and women like me resolve education loans so they are free to enter formation in the priesthood and religious life.
Because of the prayers and financial support of the friends of The Laboure Society, I am entering formation on the Solemnity of All Saints, November 1, 2014. But there are many other men and women blocked from entering formation! Please take a few moments to learn more about The Laboure Society and hear their stories.
