New Vocations For Christmas?

It’s All Hallow’s Eve, the unofficial start of the holiday season, at least in the malls and stores. It also marks a milestone for The Labouré Society. We are now over a third of a way through our fundraising term and have a short two months to reach our fundraising goal. Our hope is to reach, or even exceed these goals, so that vocations may be delivered to formation in the New Year!

The number of aspirants TLS is able to assist enter formation is dependent on the funds available for grants.  Which is why I’ve made a personal goal of raising $60,000 for this class. I want to see as many aspirants enter formation as possible next year.  And I know there are many, many people out there who also desire to see more priests and religious – people who would love to have the opportunity to help foster these vocations as a gift to Jesus for Christmas.

To date, $11,900 has been donated to TLS in my honor toward this goal. A good start, but I need your help if we are going to make it by December 31st.

  • Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to The Labouré Society. I know families who make this a holiday project for Thanksgiving or Advent. They learn about a particular aspirant and will save, donate chore money, hold a family fundraiser, or come up with other creative ways to sacrifice in honor of that aspirant for vocations to the Church.  Donations are always used to support active vocations.
  • Please share this information with at least three of your friends and family and invite them to join you in supporting vocations for Christmas by (a) making a donation, and (b) passing on the information and invitation.

We can meet, and even exceed, this goal, but only if you take these simple steps.  Thank you for your prayers and support – let’s see each of these gifts made for vocations!

As always, you remain in my prayers as well and I am happy to remember particular intentions you would like to send me.

Thank you and God bless!
